In this article I will share my experience with a company named Human Proof Designs.
What Is Human Proof Designs?
Human Proof Designs [Affiliate Link] was founded by Dominic Wells, a Wealthy Affiliate member. This is a company that sells ready-made niche websites. Those sites are designed to make money from the start through affiliate marketing: visitors are redirected to a merchant site (most of the time it’s Amazon), and when they buy a product, the affiliate earns a commission.
But what sets HPD apart from other similar services is that each site they make is completely unique. It’s not just “turn-key sites” that often look the same and have all the same content. The design is unique, but also the articles, which are written by a team of professional writers.
Buying A Site From Human Proof Designs
You can pick a pre-made site or tell them to build a site from scratch on any topic you choose.
Let’s say you choose a pre-made site. First, you will look at their catalog of sites and choose one:
You can also subscribe to their “Early-Bird Notification List” to be notified when new sites are ready for purchase.
With each site comes a brief explanation of what the site is all about, how it is monetized (most of the time it is through Amazon) and why they choose that specific niche.
They also show a calculation of what kind of income you can expect for that site. This income is based on the amount of traffic the chosen keywords can bring, by evaluating the average position of the site on the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages).
As you can see, only one site can earn you a living. But they also say that this income is the maximum income you can expect (so expect to do less, especially if you’re a newbie) and that it will take one full year to reach that level.
What Exactly Do You Get When You Buy A Site From Human Proof Designs?
There are 2 types of sites you can choose from:
The Starter package has all you need to start earning some money. The Premium package provides you with 2X more content, a logo and social media accounts. They set up the site for you, and then they show you what to do after your site is online.
- They do all the keywords researches
- They write original and high quality articles
- They design the site with a Premium WordPress theme
- They search the best domain names and let you choose the one that suits you best
- They make a logo (Premium package)
- They set up social media accounts (Premium package)
- They provide you with a complete training and tell you what to do once your site is online
- They offer a support through email and a private Facebook group
Other Services From Human Proof Designs
Keyword packs are designed to build a niche site from scratch. They search hundreds of keywords and the best Amazon products for these keywords. Here is exactly what is included in a keyword pack:
Human Proof Designs has a team of writers that can produce ready to use articles for any niche. Two packs are available:
Human Proof Designs also sells sites that are online for at least 6 months. They already have traffic, so in theory they already earn money. The main benefit of buying an aged site is to bypass the “Google Sandbox” (the period when the site is not ranking well and so has almost zero traffic). The sandbox lasts generally from 3 to 6 months. You just have to build them some authority.
As these sites are ready immediately, they cost a lot more: $1497 for one site.
My Experience With Human Proof Designs
I decided to buy a site from Human Proof Designs. I will update this section regularly to show my experience with HPD and the results I’ve obtained.
01/22/2017: Buying the site
I’ve done it! I just bought my site. I took the Premium option. After some Paypal issues (I wasn’t redirected to Paypal after submitting the form), I contacted Dom who promptly responded to send directly the money via Paypal.
Received a mail from Brad saying I should be contacted in the next 24 hours to begin sorting out the domain name and the hosting.
Received a mail from Kamran telling me they are working on the content. It should be completed under 4 weeks. Tell me to choose a domain name (22 propositions).
Received a mail from Kamran: domain name registered. He also gave me instructions on how to install WordPress (I can choose to do it myself or they set up everything for me). I choose to install WordPress myself.
I created an account on Namecheap to register the domain name (it can be moved later on to the register I choose).
My site is ready! It took them 5 weeks to make the site, so a little longer than expected, but it’s fine.
All social media accounts have been configured. The site is ready to rock!
Got my first organic visit from Google! Also had my first keyword indexed in Google’s top 100 at rank 97.
Started link building with Rank Guardian (bought the Results package).
I have now 4 keywords ranking in the search engines. The higher one is in 59th position.
Ordered a Hoth Blitz 10 Package from The Hoth.
8 keywords are in Google’s Top 100.
I haven’t worked much on the site these past two months though I started building some backlinks. I now have 15 keywords in Google’s Top 100 (Highest position: 36) and 9 backlinks. The site receives 1-3 visitors a day. The DA (Domain Authority) of the site is 18.
I’ve filled Easy Azon with my Amazon Associates ID. As the website is slowly receiving some traffic, I hope to make a few sales!
The site has 73 keywords in Google’s Top 100. The highest position is #8. The site has 49 backlinks and 17 referring domains.
The site has 97 keywords in Google’s Top 100. The highest position is #13. The site has 129 backlinks and 39 referring domains. I start to comment more on other people’s blogs (Yes, I know I should have started doing this sooner!).
I just ordered a press release from Human Proof Designs. You can find more informations on their presse release service here: Press release. It should be live in about a week.
The press release has been published on 472 news sites (newspapers, industry news, financial news, regional and local news sites), including Google News. This resulted in 206 clicks on the site, and 11 clicks on my affiliate links, but no sale.
I added one new post to the site.
I added one new post.
I created an Hootsuite account to automatically post to my Facebook, Twitter and Google+ accounts. I add posts on a regular basis (about 1-2 per week).
I finally made my first sales! Someone ordered 8 items from my link. But what is funny is that none of the items are products I promote on the site. Thanks, Amazon cookie!
The site is really starting to take off, now that I add new posts regularly. 304 keywords are in Google’s Top 100 and the site has 110 backlinks (73 referring domains). Traffic is about 25 visitors per day. My domain rating in Ahrefs is 47 and my Url rating is 25.
